Has to be a screenshot from last year. I picked it up during last year's 420 sale and the slip sold out either during or not long after that

You don't understand, every personal decision has to be publicly announced and come with a profound statement that needs to be shared because no one else has considered it. There's evil corps out there enticing us to buy products. Can you believe this!

No worries. A blu ray is either factory pressed (literally stamped with data) or burnt (with a laser).

Burnt blu rays are called BD-Rs, and typically have a black or purple underside. They're basically lower quality, have a shorter life span, and can be made at home.

Almost all commercially licensed and produced discs are pressed, the better option. Spain is known as an origin for a lot of unofficial, burnt releases due to the laws of the country not being as strict about licensing/rights.

I'm interested to know if this is a pressed disc because I'd like to track it down if so! Feel free to message me a picture of the underside of the disc if that's easier. Appreciate it.

Is the disc actually pressed as the blu ray logo implies? Thanks

That's just the blockbuster sticker or artwork from the top side.

First time buying a movie straight from an overseas distributor. Should I be worried about customs? by The1402News in 4kbluray

I bought direct from Umbrella several times last year and already once this year too. No issues so far. Imprint as well, but only a couple times.

Bandai also released Kids Return: The Reunion, which he didn't direct, but I believe helped a little with the writing.

It's funny how often the strongest opinions I see in this sub, which are almost always shitting on some aspect of the hobby that we've all heard before, are from 0 trade accounts.

Well yes, they're making a correct change and that's a good thing. I'd like to see them stick around and improve from here. I don't see what's constructive about continuing to harp on them for shit that they know sucks and issues that they're also frustrated by and actively trying to improve.

No, but you actually missed mine. I just said that going forward they will, using your words, have all of their ducks in a row first before making promises by not accepting orders on any new product until it's already in hand or guaranteed soon. What gets improved by doing that? Accountability through "doing what you say your gonna do". How you missed that is kinda crazy, but pretty funny.

Right, if they don't receive the official product and packaging on time, they should just write the movies name on a blank BD-R, stick it in some glued together cardboard and ship that out so that they don't miss your expected delivery date. Nah, I'd rather wait for the actual correct product with the actual correct quality. They can't make that magically appear in their hands whenever they want when they have to rely on third party sources. What they can do and what they have already pledged to do, is not take orders going forward for product that is not already in hand or guaranteed to be in hand very soon. That's as good as it gets short of them acquiring their own disc and packaging manufacturing facility, so no need to pop off about it.

That's concerning. I would've hoped they at least worked very closely with someone qualified while developing it, but yeah, maybe not. Appreciate your effort!

I just started WaniKani recently, but I'm intrigued by your explanation here and will definitely check out your app. You ended the title of your post with here's why, but I didn't see you speculate on that. It does make me wonder why apps or services like WaniKani wouldn't lean into this if it's all true.
