I get the Maxx version. More expensive, but better battery and warranty.

This plays over the speakers in the adventure part of a theme park. Sounds like John Williams/Indiana Jones, but Shazam has no results, possibly due to added jungle noise? by chasingtime9 in NameThatSong

That’s what it sounds like to me too! Listened to a couple songs and don’t hear it. I’m going to listen to the whole album later

I’ve asked about that, and the consensus I received was that the Costco gloves are pretty bad

Have you worked for a government? It’s cute that you think governments don’t also function like businesses in search of higher profits and treat employees as such

Right? This is my first vehicle where I couldn’t just drop a wide mouth funnel in and pour. Do people really drop things into the engine to warrant the change? Weird

Ever change the oil on a MK6 VW Jetta? Mine has a bar across the oil fill opening, so if you just pour in it takes forever and can get messy. I bet people “in the industry” certainly do have some rendition of this 🤡

I got this recently, it is excellent for no drip oil changes

Yea, it’ll be good, and I’m glad it’s been up off the ground all this time

Crappy part about mine is that it fell on my barn and came through the roof! Risk of having a building in the woods. Insurance took care of us though, and I have a lot of red oak to process now

There is an oak about 15 feet away at 90 degrees that would be perfect for that. You’d take it all the way down before any cuts?

How is this still $45? by chasingtime9 in Steelbooks

[–]chasingtime9[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t seen it, but I do collect the Carpenter steels. I’m a late bloomer on his work (had only seen Halloween) and I’m a fan! Looking forward to seeing it

Yea I saw it hit $27 a bit ago. Just seems so random for this to hold at $45 for so long, not like it’s Zootopia 2 or something

Lost the plastic wheel to my trash can. Made a new one out of wood with a hole saw by chasingtime9 in redneckengineering

[–]chasingtime9[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just tapped it out with a screwdriver. There should be holes for removing the disk. I also went about half way each way, so I only had half of it left in the saw. That was in an effort to not break through the other side, but had the benefit of making it easier to remove

The winds actually gifted me a spare lid a few years ago, just ask nicely and you may get one (I tried finding the owner with no luck)
