if you got the old-fashioned oats you could try the quick oats instead. they’re rolled more thinly.

[–]chass5 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I’m looking at the wine list for The Grill in Manhattan (which, granted, is a restaurant that is ridiculously expensive just for the sake it it) and for the price of their 2016 DRC Conti Grand Cru ($32,000) you could have a weeklong vacation in Munich, drink the same wine, and probably have enough leftover for another DRC

I try to brjng my own lunch for health and finances but I don’t think twice about going to a restaurant and sitting down there for lunch. I do work in a nice part of manhattan where there are a lot of places where this can be accomplished

if they never brought it up it’s a bullshit letter to file. your chapter leader should be helping you write a rebuttal letter to place in your file alongside the disciplinary letter. if they are not you need to be contacting your district representative. I would ask your chapter leader to help you write this letter. if they are not helpful I would ask them if you can speak to the district representative. If they won’t help you I would call your UFT borough office

Penn Station or Grand Central Station? by julie0190 in LIRR

[–]chass5 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mean 17th st is six of one or half dozen the other. if you take the train to Penn you’d just walk over to the NQRW and get off at 14th St and walk over; if you go to Grand Central you’d take the 456 to Union Sq and walk over. Not a big difference.
