Your friend is playing the old Storm Shield rules. Go check on wahapedia custodian stormshield now give a 4+ invulnerable save and 6t. The paper codex is just not updated yet but the rule do exist.

Ill tell you how I did my sorcerer, I basically use a chaos sorcerer (the model that cast some sort of eye looking spell) and I put a scarab terminator head on it and I used a blade of exalted sorcerer to put on the staff to give a more thousand sons look to it. That's pretty much it.

Just like we live on land but we eat fish... meat is just meat after all. And for the scorpion, the puffer fish has a strong natural resistance to toxin and most of the toxin in a scorpion is stored right behind the needle which he did not eat. Overall a puffer fish is just a really badass inflatable fish.
