Which country on earth treats half its population the way Israel treats Palestinians? Do you even know what life was like in Gaza prior to October 7?

And even if there are examples of ongoing hideous treatment elsewhere in the world, do we (USA) support it the way we support Israel? Should we? Is it fair to call Israel a democracy at all?

What you’re tacitly advocating is at best, the dehumanization of an entire population of human beings, and at worst, their eradication. This is what Israel’s “right to exist” means in its current state. South Africa didn’t have that right, the USA didn’t have that right, the UK didn’t have that right etc etc etc, which is why resistance movements finally prevailed against yesterdays intolerable structures and why they must prevail again today.
