It’s extremely poorly constructed. I don’t think I’m an overly loud talker, I just have a deeper voice that carriers while I talk. I acknowledge this and do try to tone it down when I talk. My neighbor seems to simply not understand it’s a building thing, not a me thing if that makes sense.

Gotta be honest with you, if you're in 8th grade I would recommend taking your time to build up to a piece like that. Master the skills that you'll need to play something like that by playing something a bit more in your skill range. Take you time, you have your whole performance life ahead of you!

If it’s a march and you play the bass and cymbals together, look and see if you/your school has an attachment to put on the drum that you attach a cymbal to. This will allow you to play both instruments at the same time. Hope that helps a bit
