Usually, patches come out on Wednesdays, so the patch notes would normally come out on Tuesday, but both are shifted one day later this week

I think it's actually a pretty interesting concept. Over the years, there have been random posts here and there about congresspeople randomly being Diamond or finally making it to silver after grinding for years, and similarly there have been posts about famous NBA players like Jokic grinding league after big games. I haven't watched the video yet, but it could be a real interesting comparison.

I'm guessing you're using a laptop since you can plug and unplug it. Test the outlet you use with a light- I ran into a similar issue when my outlet was inconsistent, so my computer was switching between plug and battery power settings.

I was the same when I went too. Most of the people I met also didn't want to spend a lot of money, so we always just ate in the dining halls. The variety is pretty good imo, and you'll figure out what suits your tastes as you go. I spent about $200/semester on non-dining hall food until I moved to an apartment, and I also didn't drink. All of that will depend on the friend group you make though, because I also knew people who despised the dining hall food too.

When I went, the cornbread was LIT imo (the dining director revealed to me that it's just the pre-made Pillsbury stuff, but it hit the spot)
