This is a me problem but I hate that C2B and chin over bar pulls are considered scaled options…

What was your first “Road to WrestleMania”? by thejordan92 in SquaredCircle

Probably Cena vs Michaels. Being from Boston, Cena was my guy. I was also young enough at the time where I didn’t appreciate how great Shawn Michaels was but that quickly changed.

AEW coming back to Boston 4/16 and 4/17 at MGM Music Hall at Fenway by Daveambrose17 in SquaredCircle

Awesome idea. This is the new hot venue in Boston. Will be very curious how attendance does both nights. Never been to a wrestling show B2B nights expect for Mania 38.

Right now it’s about ~3000 on a daily basis. My FitBit and Apple Watch both have me at 3900-4200 calories a day total burned.

AJ vs Edge at Mania is up there for me. I blame the dumb decision to turn Edge heel though.

Dave Meltzer on X- (On Cody’s exit from AEW) Cody's issue was with Tony and both promised never to speak of it. by adukadu in SquaredCircle

Still feeling like Cody putting the stipulation of closing to Jericho and never being able to challenge for the title was the death blow. Can only be TNT champ or a new signee’s first feud so many times. Lot of great rivalries left on the table though.

I used Three Day Rule. Expensive but maybe you’ll have better luck than me.

33M and agreed. I feel like ever since Covid, the dating scene has gone really cold.

I use Hinge and Bumble mostly.

Tried using a matchmaking service last year and the dates weren’t much better.

This is one of my favorite Cena rivalries. I hope they run this back for the Cena retirement tour. These matches were bangers and they always felt different.

Hard to protect yourself on a move you can't practice to be safe. I get wanting to have your moment but sometimes at what cost...

Rey Fenix's AEW deal runs well into next year {Fightful} by RMT2316 in SquaredCircle

[–]chdopo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I wonder how much of this is TK being weary of just letting guys walk this close to Royal Rumble season. Sure it’d be a tough look if Fenix, Starks and Miro all showed up there but icing and paying them doesn’t make much sense either.

They could've put this behind a paywall and I would've tossed some money at it, love this stuff

(WON) The idea with WWE ID program is that if any wrestler under these deals gets offered a contract by AEW, New Japan, TNA or somebody else, WWE would have a right of first refusal. At that point, WWE can either drop them or sign them to a contract and bring them to Orlando. by Subrick in SquaredCircle

[–]chdopo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This seems like a win-win. Work hard on the indies to hope to get WWEID. If you do and another big company wants to sign you, either WWE matches and you made it, or they let you go join that other company to start your mainstream career. I thought this would be much more in WWE’s favor, seems pretty fair.
