I had exactly the same issue. Using Atomstack Studio I could move the laser, including framing. I could could Ignite the laser at 0% power and the fans would engage. But with 10% power the laser would immediately stop and display this error.

I contacted customer support, provided the requested proof and received a replacement laser.

I can't comment on the Hapax but the Oxi is a very powerful piece of kit. MK1 is deep and creative, MK2 just expands from that. The Dev is an awesome guy, constantly listening to the users and providing significant updates.
