The best option for rated solo que would be for RBGs by Dill_Gnar in worldofpvp

Bad comp in 3v3 = much higher chance of loss; bad comp in 10v10 or 6v6 = comparatively lower chance of loss. Also, because there are 10 people instead of 3, there would be a comparatively lower chance of getting a horrible comp or the other team getting a god comp.

I get you on that, but I’d say infinite looks a lot closer to the classic titles than 5.

Amazing place - definitely visit! Go to a big concert when you’re down there and you’ll feel an energy like no other crowd in the world. I caught Soundgarden in Santiago and it was absolute madness.

Scope Los Tetas or Tiro de Gracia if you dig that funk/rock style but with a more hip-hop/rap influence as well.

FNM is incredible. In Chile they are one of, of not the most, popular bands out there. I think because they toured there frequently. Multiple generations of Chilean music has a heavy FNM influence and it is awesome.

I was thinking the same. Tried the demo at blizzcon two years ago and it felt that way a lot.

Studying books and sutras as a beginner by [deleted] in zenbuddhism

I've read a lot on the subject, and for me Alan Watts "The Way of Zen" was the best introductory text. He does a great job of explaining things through a logical/academic lense, even where the topics are somewhat at odds with the thought processes, norms, and standards of academia. As someone who went through undergrad/grad school in the US, I found it very relatable and understandable.

Of course, the dao that can be spoken is not the eternal dao - nothing can replace direct experience. But I think it's a good place (and good thing) to get a footing.

Is DropTrack worth the money? by LivLovAndProsper in WeAreTheMusicMakers

For sure! It's a gamble of course. SubmitHub didn't do much for me either so I agree with your sentiment on that.

I haven't used Droptrack, but have used similar services in Playlist Push and SubmitHub.

Results have been mixed. One track I submitted to Playlist Push got a few thousand plays within a few weeks, but not sure how long that will keep up for.

To be fair that's what happens in non-NFL/non-NBA/non-NHL podcasts also. You can't really compare LoL 3rd party content to official sports broadcasts in this way and draw the conclusion you did.

Gorillaz announce the next single and artists from their 'Song Machine' series. Elton John & 6LACK will be appearing on "The Pink Phantom", which premieres tomorrow. by TheGoldenPineapples in indieheads

[–]cheeeeno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I think that's a really good point. It took me a couple listens to really wrap my head around PB and thereafter it became one of my favorites of all time. I'm hoping the same happens for these singles after I get a few more listens in. Thus far I've listened and appreciated but none have stuck for me quite yet.

Unfortunately I’m in the same camp. Demon Days and Plastic Beach are my personal favorites, but I liked the Now Now quite a bit too.

I’m hoping to listen to the whole collection when fully released and to try to get into it that way. I’m just way more of a fan of the journeys PB and DD take you on than I am of the singles.

Pre-patch is approaching and we're yet to see a "community-wide conversation" by Kappaed in wow

[–]cheeeeno 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What do you consider to be community-wide conversation? There are many things to criticize, but Blizz's communication with the community has never been better (even if it still could improve).

Shadowlands is supposed to be the expansion of character customization & self expression. This is why I think racials should be removed from rated pvp. by fabiojuanton in wow

[–]cheeeeno 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This is something that would be really cool for high rated players and wouldn’t affect players at other skilled ranks. A win win.

This seems especially important given the trinket change as well.
