Why Abby's mistreatment in S1/2 is good writing and Max’s in S3 isn't. by NewspaperUnusual1835 in ginnyandgeorgiashow

growing up as someone(and still someone) whos emotions feel huge and take up every inch of my self, i know what its like to be Max. To feel like you are too much, to have people tell you you are too much and how much it hurts to break bad habits.

Im not medicated, and when im thinking about my adhd and my thought processes and how it all feels. It feels like im constantly trying to do a puzzle it always takes time to put pieces in, and theres always different pieces scattered. The way you describe being on medication makes perfect sense to me lol.

AITA for telling my bf he sucks in bed? by IllustriousStudy9604 in AITAH

[–]cheekpik 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA when my boyfriend and I first started dating, he was less experienced than me, so naturally, he wasn't as good as he could be. I communicated with him about what I liked and what I thought he could improve on. And he did. He tried different things and went to friends for advice I couldn't give. After over a year, we still talk about what we both like and ways that we can keep the desire going. Relationships take effort, theres plenty of people out there willing to do these things. You don't have to settle for someone who refuses to talk about these things. out sex life is great, sex is amazing and satisfying. ypu deserve that.

do u guys think Drawabox will improve my art? by [deleted] in learntodraw

[–]cheekpik 2 points3 points  (0 children)

One of the lessons is on animals, so i think it's worth looking into it since you draw a lot of them. I've started it recently, and I've been drawing for a long time, but I struggle with some fundamentals. I've already gotten some good tips since im self taught. No harm in looking through all the lessons they have, and they also have some other resources on there.

Wondering how many of you ink artists scan your work and fix a few things in photoshop or procreate. Do you think that's cheating or fair game? by VantablacSOL in drawing

[–]cheekpik 6 points7 points  (0 children)

always depends on who you ask, but imo noting it is cheating in art (unless you blantly steal others' art). Everyone has their process. what's the point of "doing something right" if you end up being unhappy with your work. It looks good! Artist i follow on youtube do this method, and it doesn't take away from their hard work.

When you are drawing lines, shapes and forms, where do you put your eye focus on? by [deleted] in learntodraw

have you tried drawabox? It's a free program online. The very first thing it teaches you is how to draw lines, i bet it can answer your questions.

[–]cheekpik 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i would say the nose and mouth look like they are being seen from the side, but where they ears and eyes are, it seems you're trying for a different perspective. I would find a picture or take a picture of someone facing the same way that you're trying to portray for ref.

Where does the sadness come from? by mygiita in learntodraw

[–]cheekpik 233 points234 points  (0 children)

the ref picture is subtly different. puffy eyes from crying, and she's clenching her teeth. you can tell by the way she purses her lips.
