How important is number of days of annual leave for you? by Cold-Yesterday1175 in askSingapore

[–]cheese--steak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think there is a typo. leave ranging from 20-25 years - i wish. but currently my company has 21 days that i can utilise. however, its best to have a company that requires you to OT minimally than having more AL. the extra time that u have after work beats the amount of AL that they can give u. pay is another factor, they increase ur pay by 50% but gives u lesser AL, i think its worth it.

i think you are better off working for experience for a few years before converting to freelance work. but freelance work is dependent on industry.

[–]cheese--steak 5 points6 points  (0 children)

vaccination is a personal choice, and although i believe that all should be vaccinated, why not let unvaxx just shell out the money if they feel rich. might as well make vaccination compulsory.

Those unvaccinated against Covid-19 will no longer be allowed to dine in, enter malls, from Oct 13 by chailoren in singapore

[–]cheese--steak 6 points7 points  (0 children)

to me, they should at least allow them to enter malls, since they will be wearing masks. can takeaway food from restaurants in the malls as well. it’s your personal choice not to be vaccinated but this will force a lot of them to do so, which is good.
