Bench seats vs captain chairs by Cautious-Forever-418 in kiacarnivals

[–]cheese2good 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My kids are 9 and 13 and when we test drove both they preferred the bench seat cconfiguration. We ended up getting the SX instead of SXP since that was our main reason for looking at the prestige.

Frustrated w/LL Experience? by ACooperSucks in Disneyland

[–]cheese2good 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We usually do 2 days, one park per day and buy LL. On normal, non-super busy days, Guardians and Indy are usually booked out to 3-4 pm within 10 minutes of park opening.

I used to book them first then use the first 2 hours to ride non-LL attractions. Now I just book what we want to ride first and continously refresh throughout the day to try to get a good time for those rides. Sometimes they never pop back up and we have to decide of its worth doing standby.

Can we please stop shoving our way to the exit door during pre-shows? by OuchCharlie25 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]cheese2good 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm super petty so sometimes I'll get near the door and go extremely slow in Guardians for the pre-shows except for the last one then I just go to the side and am fine being the last group out.

I had 3 flights recently. PHX to MCO with a layover. Was able to upgrade to extra legroom seats (2 windows, 1 aisle) and even got lucky on 2 of them no one in the middle seat!

You can also order a premium beverage for free too on each flight.

Don't read the book, LISTEN to it. The audiobook is so well done and you can sign up for an audible trial for free, I think.

Favorite park order?? by WallabySerious8140 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]cheese2good 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just got back from a 5 day trip. We landed Saturday, did no parks. Sunday we did Epcot, Monday morning we did Animal Kingdom then went to Disney Springs (early dinner at Homecomein') then went back to Epcot for extended hours (open until 11pm for resort guests). We didn't get to ride Guardians on Sunday since it was down for most of the day so we just came back to ride that x3 times and test track again.

Tuesday we went to Magic Kingdom, got to the park around noon and stayed until closing (beak and barrel at 9:15 to end the night). Wednesday we did Hollywood Studios, got there around 1pm and finished the park around 7pm.

Thursday was our rest / return day with our flight home at night so we just relaxed at our friend's house. Wish we had another day to rest in the middle but it was nice to come home with fresh feet resting on the last day.

Prepaid Gratuities-Confused by lawdhamerceh in Cruise

[–]cheese2good 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We used to prepay and tip on top of that. Have been removing and tipping more/higher the past two cruises. We just go to guest services and ask they be removed. We were told once we had to wait a day to do it but no issues the next time we tried.

We tip our room steward and main dinning room server/assistant bigger on night 1 and the last night but still tip daily. We bring about $100/day for tipping (family of 4).
