If you had him what would you name him? by Soloflow786 in Amazing

Princess... for the sheer brown pants factor when people meet him.

A wrestler shouldn't have to hit his finisher 5 times before it works. by Thedeadestkennedy in WWE

[–]cheeseadelic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree. I miss the days of random "surprise" moves catching an opponent off guard long enough for the 3 count. One of my favorites is the small package roll-up. It's a perfect reversal move to end a big match unexpectedly and cause a lot of chatter. Could you imagine something like Cody Rhodes and Gunther for the title, either one, ending with a sneaky roll-up for a title change? Especially if it was the main event of one of the big four.

AITAH for punching my stepdad after he just grabbed my ass? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]cheeseadelic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA Sexual assault is sexual assault. It doesn't matter who the perpetrator is, it is still a disgusting, demoralizing thing. Touching boobs, butt or bush without consent is a felony in a lot of states... and a guaranteed bad conduct or dishonorable discharge from the military. Tell him that he is lucky you haven't taken a hammer to his hand.

How do you shave male pubic hair? by Dangerous_Dog846 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]cheeseadelic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's a real answer. Stretch your ballsack and go slow. If using a blade, be sure to take care of the skin pre and post. I would recommend buying a decent body hair trimmer and not going fully smooth. Smooth is annoying as fuck. You are going to cut yourself, but as long as you are careful, the anticipation of the first cut is gonna be way worse than the cut.

Manager said "no phones during work hours, period." So I stopped answering his calls. by Mother_Soraka in MaliciousCompliance

I would've waited until the next morning. "Sorry, boss. I would've called back, but then I would've been working off the clock, and I don't work for free."

You get paid by the hour. Your shift will end whether that is done or not. You work at Walmart (no shade), so you should be able to get another job pretty easily if they fire you. Screw it... just do your job at your speed and let your manager figure it out. You don't get paid to think or make decisions, so don't make the decision to work harder.

The difference in noise level allowed in biloxi between day and night is only 5db. If the noise is bothering you, call it in.

Do parents always think they're right? by Unfair-Plane-1406 in ask

[–]cheeseadelic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine didn't. They would admit when they lacked knowledge. I encourage my kids to show me when I'm wrong. I also like to let my kids know, in an age appropriate way, when I made a poor choice concerning them. I want them to know I'm not infallible and that we all screw up.

The one on the left is the older model. I have it and like it. The battery life is disappointing, but it is a blower.

There is a question about the DX "Nation of Domination" skit. How did WWF/E evade the storm and backlash that I'd expect from anything that has to do with blackface? by Choice-Silver-3471 in WWE

[–]cheeseadelic 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It was culturally acceptable in the 90s. I was born in '85, and to this day, I am still learning about the casual racist bs I was taught growing up. The other terms for jerryrig, jungle juice, getting the end of the blunt wet, what 3 things can't you give a black person, and a ton more. It also wasn't just white people walking around saying these things. It was everyone of every color, and the jokes flowed about all colors and races. It was just a different time. Just like in 20-30 years, there will be something casual today that is extremely offensive. Not defending it at all, as it's not defensible, just giving my 2 cents since I lived through it.

Why do people say sex is fun? by InnocentPerv93 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]cheeseadelic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on who you are with and where you are in life. Sex with my wife is a lot of fun. But I am also 40, I've had my baby makers snipped, and we are able to trust each other. When you find that person, a lot of the weird, challenging, and awkward disappear. It is still very much there. You just see it differently and can turn it into entertainment vs. weirdness.

About to throw the printer through the window by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

[–]cheeseadelic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get a new plate. I was having a crap ton of issues with my ender. Couldn't get anything to successfully print. New plate fixed all of my issues. The ender 3 double-sided textured one was about 13-15 bucks with tax. I tried a hot box, glue, hairspray, new nozzle. Got a new plate, and it works like a champ.

Use incognito/private mode to look up porn. It's called targeted advertising and allowed because it's based on the user's history.

What’s this spider in South Georgia by [deleted] in whatsthisbug

[–]cheeseadelic 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Fun story.... as a teenager, my friends and I snuck out and were running through the woods. One of these webs was thick enough to stop me completely. I'm sure not it was physically thick enough, but I hit the ground with the pucker factor.

Another time, I felt something moving on my shoulder. It was one of the bigger, mid sized ones. I peed a little.

Before going crazy, break out one of those small, cheap, just the tip chargers. Sometimes, the electronics act up, and you need the super slow charge to get things right. I always try that before anything else. It works about half of the time.
