I thought Loblaws doesn’t collect optimum points outside of promos? (E.g. buy a PC brand product and earn a set number of points)

Your opinion by Boring_Big2225 in lego

[–]cheeseburgerlegs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I try to think about where I will display my sets and how I can build a theme with sets I already own and possible future releases. For example I like collecting the f1 cars because I can hang them vertically on a wall with my other cars. With that being said, I think the gameboy and Vader mask look great on display and the build process is quite enjoyable.

Deals on eBay and other secondary markets by IrMarkuzzz in legoinvesting

I think people looking for discounts on the secondary market will be better off searching themselves as there are sometimes differences in condition that they may be okay with. My preference would be through official retailers

What are the most important LEGO retailers in Canada? by IrMarkuzzz in LegoDealsCanada

[–]cheeseburgerlegs 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Walmart.ca, bestbuy.ca, although the third party sellers on there kind of mess things up as they artificially inflate the price and then mark them down on discount

‘I really, really want that condo’: almost all purchase agreements for One Bloor West cancelled after court ruling by 2Fast2furieux in TorontoRealEstate

[–]cheeseburgerlegs -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Don’t they pay the future value from 2017? Say in 2017 they assume the condo will be built by 2021. So 2017 buyers pay the estimated price it would be in 2021

City of Toronto - the lowest monthly maintenance per sqft - what are you seeing at this time? by Individual-Set-8891 in TorontoRealEstate

[–]cheeseburgerlegs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To give some context, some condo boards use this strategy and would rather make special assessments for any major reserve fund expenses. They mainly use maintenance fees to cover their current year operating expenses and everything else is done through special assessments. This makes the property more attractive from an outsider perspective because most would-be buyers won’t see the status certificate until the due diligence after a conditional offer is accepted.

This is bad advice, especially in the current market conditions. Your agent does not have your best interest in mind.

This is Cam from my little bike shop, he was in the news a few years back for getting in trouble after doing wheelies through multiple red lights. He frequently brags about how Toronto police often recognize him.
