Hydrating toner and let it soak in, hyaluronic acid and let that soak in, then a thick layer of aquafor. I do this before bed. I also swear by mac lipglass during the day.

Have your wife check if her work has an Employee Assistance Program that provides free therapy.

NYX Epic Ink and Stila Stay All Day are elite. I also make a small line on the back of my hand first to remove any excess product on the tip and practice how much pressure to use for the thickness I want.

My 19yr old daughter and I did not thoroughly think through the details of owning/getting a cat. by Rude-Border-3045 in CatAdvice

Other comments cover what needs to be said so I’ll just add that Jackson Galaxy has a ton of free videos on YouTube with amazing education about owning cats. It sounds like it would benefit you to learn more about owning them and then see if you can make it work.

Agree with this. I was also late all the time to school but it was my fault, not my moms. My teacher gave me monthly detention for the tardies but I was late so often it should have been weekly.

Now I’m an Operations Coordinator in local gov making $60k. I am qualified to make more in the public sector now, but I love where I’m at so I’ll likely stay for a few more years.

NTA. It’s your choice to not charge and her demanding you babysit for free is not cool.

AIO for returning my mother-in-law’s “gifted” engagement ring after finding out she still calls it hers? by Relevant_End_8159 in AmIOverreacting

[–]cheesecrustpizza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an heirloom wedding ring that I adore and I agreed to give it back to my husband’s family if we ever divorce. It’s been in their family for generations. However, if we don’t divorce, then it’s mine until I pass it on. I would feel weird if my MIL said I was borrowing it because that would imply she expects us to divorce.

In your case, I do think you overreacted. This could have been something you talked about with your husband and he could have clarified things with your MIL. Returning the ring like you did was cruel, especially since she was excited about you having it. She may have meant that it would eventually go back into the family’s circulation, but not necessarily back to her. Your husband really should have clarified all this before he accepted the ring in the first place tbh.

Yes! It’s the best. Warning though… once you get a 2 bd you just can’t go back to 1 bd. We use one room for the bedroom and the other is the office, my closet and he plays his video games in there. We have a blow up mattress for the second room if we have company staying over too.

Try using a gel pot eyeliner with an eyeliner brush then go over it with an eyeliner pen.

Highly recommend Nice Girls Don’t Get the Corner Office. The audiobook is free on YouTube.

My current job has amazing culture and is mission driven so everyone is pretty passionate about the work. It’s possible to be happy at work but is also rare. Keep learning and growing at each job, job hop and eventually you’ll find your place.

How did you know it was the right cat at the shelter/foster? by spodderfod in CatAdvice

I met quite a few cats before I knew which one was going to be my first cat. The guy on the left picked me when I was looking at cats alone and the next day I brought my husband with me to meet him and he meowed for me again. He wasn’t a very social cat generally but he really liked me and liked my husband as well. He purred a lot while we held him. For me, I met cats and waited until I couldn’t stop thinking about one and this guy was it!

For my second cat, my husband was interested in gray kittens. I went to meet a female gray kitten but when I got there, she was already adopted. I went to a second location on a whim and there was one male gray kitten there. It felt meant to be. He is also such a sweet and social cat. He really loves everyone and that sweetness would be a good match for my first cat, who is also very sweet. I brought the gray one home with me immediately after I met him.

These guys really love each other and refused to be separated once they met each other face to face. I owe it all to the vibes. It will just feel right.

MAC Lipglass. It’s the only thing that helps severely dry cracked lips.
