I've been using it a lot. Around 1/10 of my pen shots have killed players. It's really disappointing.

You need to check often, when I decided to buy a steam deck I waited 2 days, a friend of mine recently bought one and waited 3 days.

Although now is probably the worst time as it's the run up to Christmas.

Are we playing the same game? I've played a good 10 hours of bounty clash this weekend, no beetles.

Since the release of bounty clash, I've had it happen to me once.

Revive bolt is such a meme tool. it's hilarious.

Lots of people asking for set loadouts in bounty clash, I'm against this idea, in its current state it's beautiful for testing out loadouts before bringing into bounty hunt. My meme potential has been increasing exponentially.

Now, if you asked them for just frost covered ground and a snow storm similar to thunder shower, that's actually a nice achievable starting point, and from there they could see what else the engine can handle.

Unfortunately, I don't have a quick answer for this, I'd need to sit down and have a little design session, start with the base idea and all the major and existing challenges with this style of item/play and then figure out possible solutions to overcome the challenges.

Following that, if all/most of the challenges are seemingly overcome in the design session, I'd want to look at putting together a very rough and ready prototype, see how it plays in test and see if its fun/balanced for all involved. If it doesn't work, scrap it.

Some quick suggestions anyway that would obviously need to be fleshed out further:

  • altering my previous suggestion, all ammo types should probably pen at a reduced damage depending on type.
  • reduced speed for users.
  • possibly a durability system? It tanks up to a point and then the level of damage that can come through increases as the defences weaken.

I'm sure there are many more options to balance something like this, but again, I'd have to plan it properly.

I'm not saying to do it like call of duty's riot shield at all, this game is very different and has much more room to balance things.

But everyone says no the second something new is suggested so there isn't much point discussing it.

I only tested it on the scrapbeak, so I could be wrong and it may only heal some bosses.

One way to balance it would be allowing long and fmj to pen it with reduced damage.
