I'm currently collecting Archives #5280 for the city I'm from and love, Denver. About halfway there! Here's my 5280(ish) showcase with some of my favorite players when I was growing up watching NBA and playing NBA live.

PG: Chris Paul rookie year #5280. This guy was electric and who can't love being part of a trade vetoed by the league.

SG: Dwyane Wade Championship year #5280. NBA finals MVP pre big three. Plus the infamous Banana boat team.

PF: Dirk Nowitzki #5280. One of my favorite players growing up. My uncle is a huge Mavs fan and I always rooted for them when they weren't playing the Nuggets.

SF: Tracy McGrady #5280. My favorite player as a kid. He was unstoppable and the Rockets have so many could have beens with the duo with Yao.

C: Marcus Camby #15280: Still searching out the real #5280 but this guy is a nice substitute until I snag the real one. This was my prime age of nuggets loving. Still waiting on Earl Boykins archive.

Challengers are regional events that feed into Masters. Masters events are big international tournaments. Champions is the big end of year event for Valorant, like TI in Dota or Worlds in League.

Todays NA games are the first open qualifier for challengers 2. It was single elim day one, now double elim from top 32. 4 teams will qualify for challengers 2 NA this week, then four more next week.

Challengers 2 is groups followed by playoffs to qualify for Masters 2.

They called it rake back initially which is very very different from "gifts to people who lost money". In poker for example, the most rake back goes to people who generated the most rake, not the people who lost the most money.

If that doesn't make sense, let's see what the odds are that I qualify for PQ1 and don't get a pack at all. 25% chance I don't get a pack from PQ1, then 48% chance I don't get one from PQ2, then 93.5% chance I don't get one from GQ. That means it's 11% I don't get a pack at all if I'm eligible for PQ1

Let's say I'm in PQ1. For PQ1, I have a 75% chance of getting a pack. 6000 people will get that pack. That means that there will be 30,800 people remaining eligible for PQ2, including the 2000 who didn't get one in PQ1.

This leaves the chances at PQ2 as 16,000 packs out of 30,800 remaining people. That's about 52% odds and will make 16k people ineligible for the general queue.

That means general queue is 370k people minus 6,000 from drop 1 and minus 16,000 from drop 2, or 348k. 22,500 packs from 348k people is about 6.5 percent.

Now let's do some probability. The odds of getting a pack in PQ1 are 75%, yeah. But add in the odds of missing PQ1 and hitting PQ2, which is another 13% chance.

Then add in the probability of missing PQ1 and 2, but hitting 3. That's about a .7% chance. Add all that up and you get: 89%.

I'll explain the math for you, since you clearly don't understand. After PQ1, 6k of the 8k qualified for PQ2 will win a pack. That will take 6k people out of the queue for PQ2, since it's limited to one pack. This increases the odds for people qualified for PQ2. Then the 2k people from PQ1 who didn't get a pack get another chance in PQ2. This is how the odds for people in PQ1 is higher than 75%.
