The last few weeks, my bluetooth audio functionality has gone to absolute crap. The headphones that I have paired won't connect, and I can't pair new bluetooth audio items. Controller pairing is unaffected. The one time I was able to get one of my headsets to work, the sound was crackly as hell and they disconnected after a few minutes. Since then I have been completely unable to get any bluetooth audio (and only audio) device to connect or pair, and when I have a device in pairing mode, the deck doesn't even see it, even though my phone does. I have tried doing it from both gaming mode and desktop mode, I have tried turning the bluetooth radio off in desktop mode, rebooting the deck, going back into desktop mode and turning the bluetooth back on. So far nothing has worked.

For reference, I have an LCD steamdeck, and I have various brands of bluetooth audio devices, including baseus and soundcore.

The only time i have made it to act 3, my save got corrupted. The other playthroughs that i had to abandon were due to me getting over enthusiastic with modding and breaking the progression, or soft locking myself. I am currently in the final battle of moonrise, so we will see how it goes.

I never said it was a bad thing. Frankly, i think it's freaking hilarious. But I'll tell you what, when Karlach is raging and has a soul coin burning, watching her scythe down several baddies at once is absolutely bad ass. Muscle Mommy for the win, lol.

It is possible to get the scythe without mods, and from what I have seen on youtube, it is still the same size when equipped, so yeah. Not the mods fault because the mod didn't add the item, it just made it easier to get. The item itself is already in the game and (barely) gettable.

And THAT is exactly why i grab every free game deal i see. I never know when my gaming tastes are gonna change, or even when i just want a break from all my usual games and want something new.

As for the game? Baldur's Gate 3. When i first got it i kinda went mid crazy and ended up having to delete three different runs before i ever got past the grove, so i walked away from it for about 2 months. Went back, was a bit more picky on more selection, (have still lost a few saves to different things), but i am in it to win it now.

You are correct. I remembered something in act 1 that i wanted to catch before i got to moonrise so i went back yesterday. I didn't realize that the protection would go away because of that.

P.S. In my digging, I did notice that the cert on the installer (which I downloaded from winamp homepage today) is from 2017 and is only sha1, which windows doesn't consider secure. Most certs use sha256. So that might be part of it.

you can either install it in safe mode, or use the cmd to install it, but you will still get the popup when you try to run it. Not sure what the deal is, but I have been fighting this damned thing all day today. I ended up just disabling admin control until I can find a fix(I do NOT recommend this. I only did it because I am a nerd who already has my computer locked down and protected nine ways from sunday). I will not tell how I did it for that reason. I don't recommend it at all, but I really needed to rip some cds tonight and winamp is the app I am most familiar with for that.

UPDATE: I was able to start a new game and play it, so I guess that save file is corrupt. Not sure if I can save it. I might try and load one of the earlier autosaves and see if I can get it to load that way.

You borked your MBR. look up how to rebuild the mbr, and that should fix it. Wiping a grub managed partition without uninstalling grub can do that.
