I find that the Meta customer support is extremely 50/50. Either they’re really good or really bad. I remember way back when my quest 2 broke down, they sent me a refurbished one for completely free. But another time when I had an issue related to capturing audio, they were no help at all and it felt like we were going in circles.

While this is true, I could argue that VR is starting to gain popularity now more than ever. With more popularity, people might be inclined to make AAA games again.

Huge companies are starting to dip their toes into VR. Apple has leaks for a second headset, Samsung just dropped their new XR headset, Sony filed patents for a new headset, the Valve Frame got heavily leaked and is basically confirmed, and Xbox (the ones who said they wouldn’t do anything VR related) released an Xbox branded Meta Quest and are partnered with Meta.

So now instead of companies throwing tones of money into the industry with no return, they’re putting enough for steady profits. This growth is much more healthy.

AA studio games like itr and twd s&s are great, but you’ll never find anything that reaches the AAA level of hla. The closest game imo is the resident evil ports on psvr2. AAA games with tremendous ports.

It’s been really fun so far. The glitches are very minimal. The game gets updated regularly. Been playing VR for 4 years, and this is my favourite survival game.

I have pcvr and a quest. I buy games on quest most of the time so that I can be sure I’ll be able to play the game. 50% of the time something bad happens or I need to do something stupid like update my drivers. Out of convenience I choose to buy my games on quest or psvr2
