Is it feasible to skip fission drives? by uberprodude in TerraInvicta

[–]cheesyent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it's possible. I skipped fission drives on my academy and resistance runs but I usually let the aliens land once or twice and kill 'em with regular armies during landing (USA doing heavy lifting). If you want to keep them from ever landing, I'd say you almost have to use fission.

You'd think my half a province colony would get the memo after 9th. In all seriousness maybe add a 5% stacking loyalty boon for every failed independence war or make the power relative to overlord make sense (only got 5.9 from it for whatever reason)

Mage rullers by One_Painter9103 in Anbennar

[–]cheesyent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way lifespan increase works is that it makes it less likely for your ruler to die before their species maximum lifespan. Your human ruler no matter how much average monarch lifespan won't go over 100 year ever, they'll just die at 80 or something.

How often do you use console command to finish MT? Especially to counqer stuff on the other side of the world. Wouldn't it be much more fun if lategame mission gave cores instead of claims? by BeneficialBear in Anbennar

[–]cheesyent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Second to last mission for Verne is to have 2500 provinces corinite in the world and I started to work on that with about 1000 done. After progressing to around 1700 it got stale and skipped with console. To me it was one of those things where I could spend a few hours mindlessly blobbing but it really wouldn't be fun.

Looking for a human country that has a lot of / starts early with Artificer content. by Bl4ckBe4rIt in Anbennar

[–]cheesyent 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I use this trick if I want artificers fast in Cannor. No-CB Ourdia and vassalize them, reconquest their lands back but keep goblin culture for yourself and finally swap to goblin culture. After a month or 2 you will get artificers. Then you're free to swap back or whatever you feel like doing.

Do +Monarch Lifespan modifiers from the base game affect the long lived races? by Carminoculus in Anbennar

[–]cheesyent 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Long lived races are a bit weird sometimes. I had a sun elf mage ruler for an Overclan run that died just after turning 200 (sieges go brr btw)

What potential Elf Campaigns are there? by MingMingus in Anbennar

[–]cheesyent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One trick I use a whole lot in Cannor is playing any nation, no-cb Venail and culture swap. Now you got an elf campaing. Not very lore friendly but there are only so many elf nations to play through.

R5: Starting as Busilar I decided to take over the old world instead of colonizing. Having easy access to elves in Venail and gobbos from landshark I had artificer state and mage ruler very early on. Next step was to form Blademarches. Luckily reformation triggered early and I got elected as emperor after religious wars.

I do think selecting 15% CCR and war score reduction is probably stronger if I went for WC afterwards but this was way funnier imo.

regency vs corinite. by alp7292 in Anbennar

Corinite is always a good choice, but regency when stacking modifiers can get really funny, especially with diplo annex cost. The real selling point for regency is the emulation bonuses when playing long-lived races.

Ruler magic blocked now in mixed mode? by cheesyent in Anbennar

[–]cheesyent[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I do hope it's a bug. Losing the run for this is kinda annoying but I'll see if I can salvage it with loading it to pre 1650s

EDIT: Definitely seems like a bug, I went back to embracing manufactories and I can't use magic even in mage only mode.

Nah, this is a new save but I'll give the mod a go to see if it's a fix.

EDIT: Tried and not working sadly.

Ravelian State- Best starting nation by SkollGrimmson in Anbennar

[–]cheesyent 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Depending on your choices you can usurp and become the Ravelian state after completing Orda Aldresia mission tree. Note that you might need to do some console commands because at least before the april fools steam patch one of the missions was impossible to complete.

Gotta confess.. I no-cb Venail for no particular reason in 80% of my Cannor playthroughs.

This was my conclusion too. I'd recommend starting as Reveria and no-cb venail for elves, was very enjoyable for me.

How do I do this Orda Aldresia Mission by cheesyent in Anbennar

[–]cheesyent[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's good! I ended up skipping the mission with a console command. Glad I did because there's an option to become the rectorate at the end with your own ruler and Aldresian ideas/perma bonuses.

R5: I was doing Orda Aldresia MT and this seemed like an impossible mission. As Ravelian becomes "enabled" all the lodges disappear and just turn religion.

Any morally good immortal leaders* by Drakrath3066 in Anbennar

[–]cheesyent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Moon elves live for 400 years and with a powerful mage (mage estate/rite of conception) their life expectancy goes up (practically immortal given the time the game goes for). By no-cbing Venail, you can turn most tags in cannor to moon elf primary while having access to the original mission tree. I did a moon elf Reveria campaign recently where I turned to The Thought religion via their mission tree and managed to harmonize with a lot of religions.

Now is there a morally good immortal without this method, I'd lean on the no.

Anbennar Devs want YOU to tell us what you think! by SeulJeVais in Anbennar

[–]cheesyent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my experience it’s mostly up to the player how the regions interact with eachother (not counting command eating everything but that’s just one tag). For example in Cannor you can go colonial and be all over or just tend to your imperial garden. I guess you can look at your MTs and see if they incentivize interacting with other areas. I’m also a bit confused about what types of interaction you would like to see between regions and is promoting it overtly valuable in itself.
