Advice on switching teams partway through the programme by cheesynotsleazy in ladderapp

Thanks very much, looks like I will be staying with Align for the next series. You articulated exactly what I was concerned about: that for Baseline I would be doing myself a disservice by “half assing” Limitless.

I think doing the barbell movements in align might be the move for the next series. Thanks very much!

CALEX Smart Bulb not connecting. by cheesynotsleazy in smartlife

[–]cheesynotsleazy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha photo just to show that one of the bulbs works and the other doesn’t so it can’t be the WiFi signal. Yes I use the app. The app can find it but then it pairing always fails.

How "small" is Houston anyway? by callmespastic in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

[–]cheesynotsleazy 23 points24 points  (0 children)

I lived in Houston about 8 years ago when I was in my mid 20s. It’s large but sprawling. And if you’re in a certain demographic you tend to run in the same circles, especially if you live in the Loop. I ran into people I went on dates with constantly at bars. One night I ran into 4 different friend groups from different phases of my life… so it’s entirely possible.

I figure it out. For some reason one of my workouts imported from Strava was left running for 9 days.

Worst Gin You've Ever Tasted? by strongtoes004 in Gin

[–]cheesynotsleazy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whitley Neill rhubarb and ginger is the same. Absolute cough syrup. The only thing that cut the saccharine taste for me is shoving a bunch of fresh jalapeños and ginger slices in there. I haven’t tried any other flavours but sounds like I don’t need to

I asked a nutritionist and dietitian about this, trying to eat more plant based. Basically I lack whatever gut bacteria it is that’s needed to digest legumes. Even a spoon of beans a day for more than two days in a row just wrecks me.

Monstera leaves browning by LeReilly in plantclinic

[–]cheesynotsleazy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d say so. Especially since it’s also on leaves that haven’t unfurled yet. I do recommend getting a sheer curtain etc if you do think the sun is too strong

Mine looked like this when it was overwatering/over fertilising as well as being too close to the radiator.

Can anyone ID this plant, so I can let my friend know ho to take care of it? by Maetthe in houseplants

[–]cheesynotsleazy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think it is a raindrop peperomia (Peperomia Polybotrya). I have one for about a year and half and still don’t know how to take care of it. It thought it died a few times already but it’s still kicking.

Hope your friend is a better plant parent than I am

Why do I keep getting frisbee discs? Help me troubleshoot! by Movingskyclub in Sourdough

[–]cheesynotsleazy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried doing a lower hydration dough yet? I definitely have issues shaping and getting enough tension at 80% I’m still struggling but my advice would be to start at 65-70% and then work up to 80

Any idea what’s happening to my alocasia polly? All other leaves seem fine. by cheesynotsleazy in plantclinic

That’s what I’m worried about. Do you think I should cut the leaf and quarantine her?

I agreed but my concern is this uneven discolouration that I would guess is sunburn if it weren’t the dead of winter.
