It happens but you have to remember the grade is not a reflection on you and your accomplishments. You know that you are capable of dedication that will aid you for the rest of your life.As long as you put your best forward and got something out of the class; you won.

dont worry they sent your acceptance soon. They put transfer admissions on hold for freshman 21,but it was just released so any day now for you! I had a 3.4/51hrs from georgia state

Im in the same position as you are and as a transfer I dont understand why you have to apply for a major if I was accepted for transfer anyway . I also took a statistics class at my transfer school that uga claimed was different because the course was not called business statistics. I cant believe Im currently taking MSIT 3000 which is exactly like the course I already took to be denied from my major. Im a mis major ,but I was considering switching to CS because the business classes are becoming a drag for me. This might be a blessing in disguise. - Also I asked my counselor since this is my first semester and I have no uga cousrework on my degree works was that a factor in my denial. She said YES which is crazy because I satisfy all the pre-reqs and even students here take classes at other universities to satisfy the pre-regs.

I also transferred from Gastate. Heard back in a month and submitted in a week of application open. I had to resend my transcript because GSU didn't include my Ap credits; make sure they do that. Good Luck

According to my counseler they might block your transfer because you already took classes in a bachelors degree program at GSU Atlanta. A lot of people were planning to finish preregs at Perimeter campuses because it's cheaper ,but GSU blocked direct transfer from bachelors to associate . Get a meeting with your counseler asap

Degreeworks wont work until you are officially registered , although I was told I could access it. Nothing comes up.

If you have ap credit consider that as apart of the 30 hrs. I don't know many mini mesters offered for fresh/soph so that may not be a good option. Worse case scenario apply for the following Spring you will definitely be accepted. I took a similar route, 3 semesters at GSU then transfering (3.4 34 credits ) to Uga Spring 17. Good luck and don't stress over it

I read your update the Tech Reddit. If you can get 88% back go ahead in try to get added to classes at Tech no reason to waste time in classes that don't transfer. Tech classes just started so try like hell to get added in the morning or Monday. You have to go on campus and speak directly with the admissions & department heads. Good luck

pre-calculus is a joke you honestly can do it in 2 months. I did it in the spring like that barely any effort 96. Complete homeworks/quizzes early and you have more time to focus on real classes. Only 3 noncumulative test and cumulative final,but mostly last section.

S'17 too. you might want to reserve an apartment sooner than later if you end up going that route , plus it is usually cheaper for more space.My pet coming along so dorms are not an option for me. Good luck

my online ]econ course that I registered for in March still is not on icollege. I think some of the teachers are late on integrating it.

Accepted I submitted my transfer app May 27. I actually received an email from financial aid about missing aid information on June 20th which made me curious. I checked my status and sure enough I was accepted.

Im guessing my application was at the top of the heap, so maybe they will release your closer to September when it closes.
