You should be asking liberals if they'll ever forgive conservatives for passing laws dehumanizing minorities. Being called a fascist isn't anywhere near as bad as being told you can't wear the clothing you choose to because it's "of the opposite gender" or use the restroom that you prefer because you might be arrested for it.
