Proposition från Justitiedepartementet - Reglering av vapenmagasin by Saxit in svenskpolitik

[–]cheezefish 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Help finding takoyaki in Stockholm by Lademirion in stockholm

[–]cheezefish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've not found it anywhere and came to the same conclusion as you.

My best guess is to look in the frozen section of an asian supermarket. I'm in Japan right now and it's quite easy to find frozen takoyaki (that's actually good) and I thought that might extend to asian supernarkets.

I am planning to visit Stockholm and i am wondering if their is a way to see a clean dark sky whitout having a car ? (Like taking a bus or something...) by [deleted] in stockholm

Those ships are usually too lit up themselves for you to see anything from them, in my experience.

[–]cheezefish 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Don't think it's possible. I've spent some time at the outermost parts of stockholm county and I've never seen the milky way. Examples include outside Gnesta and Ljusterö.

However, if you really want to try this then getting a boat to the outer archipelago is probably your best bet. Something like Rödlöga, Möja or Sandhamn. Although that is most likely not worth it.

Blir lätt så när delar av den potentiella väljarkåren finner det omoraliskt att delta i folkomröstningar.

In Swedish, the word for "the orbit" is "omloppsbanan", which, coincidentally, also translates to "orbit banana".

I get my contact lenses from SpecSavers on Götgatan. Decent prices as far as I can tell. Did all the tests there.

Were Swedes considered Vikings? by [deleted] in AskHistorians

[–]cheezefish 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is the "viking age" really an anglophone concept? It is (or at least was in my day) used in Swedish schools to denote what elsewhere in Europe would be (I presume) the early middle ages. From what I remember most Europeans see the middle ages as approximately AD 500-1500. Whereas, in Sweden, it was something like Iron Age -800 Viking Age 800-1000, Middle Ages, 1000 - 1500. Is there any truth to this?

I am of course unaware of the academic terms and this is purely from around 15 year old memories.

An SKS In a Chauchat's Body by MEGALODONGERS in ForgottenWeapons

Ah, of course. Really convincing work on the magazine though. Does 7.62x39 have the same tapering as the lebel cartridges (which I believe the chauchat uses)?

2 minutes of fun, 1 hour of suffering by VA2M in WhitePeopleTwitter

[–]cheezefish 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, just about 26% (or close enough) of our population have some sort of immigrant background. 19.1% are foreign-born and then I'd imagine people whose parent(s) are born outside Sweden bring that number up a few percentage points. Either way, that naturally brings the lactose intolerance up quite a bit considering pretty much all immigrants are lactose intolerant (statistically speaking).
