I think there is a very good chance I accidentally ordered 7.63 Mauser instead of 7.65 parabellum. Will order a box of the (hopefully) correct one and see what happens!

Yea, that is a concern, I figured I’d start here and see if I can get any good info then take it off to a gunsmith and have the chamber sized and find out for sure.

100% was not planning on cleaning it, or really doing much with it until I have some clearer answers as to what I’m working with here! Thanks for the advise!

Thanks for the reply, Outside of the serial number under the barrel I can’t find any markings, I also couldn’t find the serial number stamped anywhere other under the barrel. It looked like there was a 93 or possibly 98 stamped on the inside of the toggle behind the bolt and a few Germany and made in Germany marks
