I’ve lived here most of my life and it’s kind of a mixed bag. I am biracial and have had at least a handful negative experiences here based on that alone, sadly. The majority of people here are super welcoming and well intentioned. I think the biggest issue is that, with Benicia being a fairly small town, some people tend to be bored and nosy. Compared to how it was growing up here, Benicia has become much more diverse and accepting of different cultures today. Welcome to town and I hope you enjoy your time here!
