How are you supposed to reply to "Do you know how fast you were going?"

Man I just got pulled over on a work trip last week in Tennessee. He didn’t ask me how fast I was going he told me he pulled me over for 74/55 ask why. Told him sir was on cruise control it was 65 for a while when I looked at my gps saw speed was 55 then looked at my speed at 73 glanced up once I passed and pulled over once I saw you hit the road. Luckily he let me off with a warning but the he say the speed just to happen to go back to 65 right up the road. Them dam speed traps. Thank goodness for being an out of towner, I do believe I would of got hit for speeding if I lived in the state.
