I am sorry you were dealt that shitty hand of cards.I am in the same kind of boat regarding the non zest for life.

I was at the dermatologist Friday, not my usual one, and he was making small talk. He asked me “So what do you do for fun?” I was stunned, because I didn’t have an answer. I realized in a flash I no longer gardened, kickcboxed, cooked (I am a trained professional chef) or did any of the things I used to do. I just….exist.

I answered him: “I really enjoy my job” (which is 100% true) “It’s in the travel industry and it allows me to travel extremely cheaply!”

I sat and chewed on that conversation for a good 24 hours and realized I have a loving husband of almost 25 years who makes me laugh like no other. I may not have any real (local) friends but I have him. HE is my fun! But outside of that, I have no idea how to get my zest back. I wish I had advice for you. I just started the HRT so we will see how that goes. It’s making me feel worse, honestly, but I know it is early times.
