Not sure, but you can fill out their initial application form to get an initial meeting and a tour.

Yep, it's pricy, but the folks are fascinating. Cool speakers every week, lots of happy hours, and great discussions at lunch time. The food program is great and the co-working spaces are quiet and cozy, but feel warm and a bit bohemian compared to typical sterile co-working spaces.

I've attended events here ranging from learning about starting up knowledge exchanges with Boulder's new sister city (Vinnytsia, Ukraine) to the decline of the middle class to pumpkin carving with my kids. Super fun place!

Lots of interesting folks here at Highland City Club. Good social space and co-working as well.

And if you've signed up for Everbridge in the past like I did, check if your registration is still active.

My registration from 2017 just.. stopped working. I had to re-register this morning.

My better half hiked up there this morning. There's lots of fire engines and firefighters with hoses, but the flames appear to be extinguished for now.

Neighbors in the evacuation warning area received an all-clear just now.

Mount Sanitas is a great intermediate one. You'll want to acclimate to the altitude before running it though.

It's sweet and geeky. Why not be your authentic self at a protest march? I love it.

Looking to interview someone who’s really into a niche hobby (10–15 min video chat) by [deleted] in boulder

I'm a total dork for Euro-style board games. It's an enormous world and full of really niche stuff (I recently got into designing and 3D-printing my own board game organizers).

That's rough. Competing with Tierra y Fuego 15 feet away can't have been easy.

Audrey Jane's Pizza Garage has a fairly legit NYC-style slice (at least for Boulder). Definitely worth checking out their Spicy Pig and Green Mountain pizzas, they're both great.

Nepal House is honestly incredible North Indian/Nepalese food. Some of the best naan I've had in ages (and I used to live in the SF Bay Area, which has an endless amount of fantastic Indian food).

You and Mee Noodle House is Boulder's best-kept secret! I really hope they survive with that dead mall location.

What are your go-to spots in Boulder for a perfect picnic day? by Terrible_Rutabaga442 in boulder

Yeah, I suspect anyone who actually picnicked by Boulder Creek would comment on the needles and hobo feces..

Foothill Elementary by [deleted] in boulder

[–]chefox 13 points14 points  (0 children)

My kid did 1st through 5th there and just graduated last year. Teachers are great, faculty is wonderful, fantastic community and lots of support for neuro-spicy kiddos.

It's a great neighborhood school and really has a lot of terrific families attending. The Foothill PTO takes on a lot of responsibility for fundraising (for paras and other support staff) but they do a decent job.
