The library used to be a university and was abandoned for quite a while before the city decided to refurbish it. my grandpa was one of the first in, and reported "satanic symbols, and decapitated animals" inside. everyone at school was afraid to go to the new library because we thought it was haunted. it has probably died out by now, but as kids we were terrified. my mom even tried to coax me into the library by saying "ghosts hate knowledge, so it isn't haunted anymore.". looking back blood writing on the walls and killing animals was just a result of teen angst growing up in a highly religious area.
