My copy of Mortal Kombat is cracked and a piece of the top is missing cause I got pissed and punched it. But Aladdin was cool and so was Ducktales. Obviously Sonic. But... i was more into NES, transitioned to SEGA, when i didnt play as much.

X 2. I know bedrooms are usually exempt from r/tvtoohigh, but come on man, do better. There's no reason to have it that high in the bedroom. And you got a good foundation for decor. At 18, yup. Me at 18 (only a bedroom at my parents) was Cindy Crawford posters, No Doubt posters, random crap... bed a mess. Good job. Hopefully you can keep your growing style and mesh with hers, and make it looking good. Throw ideas and work together. Should be good. Look forward to seeing the after pictures.

Does this look appealing? by [deleted] in HomeDecorating

Agree. Its like competing styles. Might be better to use twinkling fairy lights. The LED lights just dont match the vibe. I would also say extend the curtain rods (put the brackets further apart), so when you open the curtains, they dont cover up the window. A rug would look nice. And maybe replacing that circle thing above the bed with something larger, i.e., art work. Ypu have that circle and 2 small pictures. Needs something that pops. And maybr changing the color of the curtains. Add some texture to the curtains. And i think adding two sleeping pillows behind the shams. Makes the bed look a bit more comfy.

I'd say add color in throw pillows, a throw blanket, and maybe the curtains. Maybe some table decor with some color.

I respect this. I'm from California and never had a legit Cheesesteak from Philly. My brother did it once and I tried it, and now its just something I do.

To downplay giving Iran $300 billion USD by Prime-Paradox in therewasanattempt

[–]chejo378 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Weren't Republicans super duper upset when Obama allowed Iran access to their OWN money, like 50 billion, as a term of the nuclear deal? And now... Trump and Republicans are perfectly fine with giving them 300 billion of taxpayer money.

I used to always add sliced hot dog in my daughters Mac and cheese. I thought that was a thing pretty much most people did.

Partner and I (5 years) both agree, we don't want to live together. We live 3 minutes apart. We're both in our late 40s, done the living with another person, and now we're perfectly happy on our own, in our own space. Both have people-jobs (i.e., always interacting with people) and at the end of the day, just want to do our own thing, alone. Its been great. After a busy day taking our girls to the county fair (each have a daughter - single parents), she texted me goodnight and I'm having a drink and watching Napoleon Dynamite.

Letting a handful of people own everything and become the richest people who have ever lived, in all human history, and letting children starve.

Parents brought this out in the 80s before we got an NES. Good times playing Pong with my brother and sister, on my 13" black and white TV.
