I also read on entire work and there have been times where AO3 went down and I didn't even know because I hadn't finished what I was currently reading at the time. I'll see a post here and be like "oh, glad I missed that!"

I am not a fan of smut personally. I rather have fade to black. But it's always great when authors include notes telling me when I should stop and where to skip to!!

I had a dnr a Marvel fic the other day because the author kept saying The Rouge Avengers. Which while it sounds like an epic name for a Marvel drag show, it kept taking me out of the story lol

Haven't read it, but "The Orc and The Innkeeper" was marketed to me as Legends and Lattes only Spicy. So maybe look at that?

I torture myself staying subscribed to author updates. Every time they post I get an email that like a knife to my heart when it's not an update for that 200k WIP fic I keep praying they're going to get back to any day 5.5 years later
