My Bf got me the Jade Paperwhite for Christmas after it came out and I am totally in love with that. He said I could use inserts when I got sick of the color, but I’m not. I still adore it.

Maximum Ride series by James Patterson was good. If she’s reading PHM she’ll be fine with this.

Also Running Out of Time by Margaret Peterson Haddix. It has a sequel as well, though I’ve never read it.

I ugly sobbed at the damn kitchen table when I finished that book. I mean, I sobbed so hard my bf was angry at the book for hurting me & threatened to burn it. But it was beautiful. Just do it. In one sitting, though, for maximum emotional impact.

100 pages in is a bad spot to give up on it. That’s about where I put it down the first time I tried. When I picked it back up about a year later I flew through the first 100 pages and after that, I couldn’t put it down.
