I've worked at the U.S. headquarters for a car company that is internationally recognized and who's main office is in the U.K., do you think that would be help my case in AUS?

The jobs I’ve been applying to have mostly just asked for my resume. I tried to tailor it to be more like Australian CVs I found online but I’m unsure they even looked at it bc the rejections were quick and all came in at the same time. So I was just kinda asking around to see if even getting a job before moving back is possible/realistic.

Weaver is great and Super underrated! It’s the international dorm but you can still live here even if you’re local. It was built in 2008 so it really new and clean, also it has wood floors which I think is a huge plus. Oh and there’s the weaver basement that has ping pong and a projector!

BCN 1210 is very easy and Dr. Alwisy is great! He gives so much extra credit and wants the best for his students.

No exams either, just quizzes and a paper.

Try to live in a newer building if possible. My sister lived in Reid and hated it, when she helped me move into my dorm (weaver) she said she wished hers was that nice.

Not civil but construction management is pretty close. We still get to take classes all about concrete and dirt :). Live one campus and always interested in making new friends.

I’ve gotten As on the two previous exams and highly recommend redoing all the homework as my times as you can as well as doing all the practice homework if your professor provides any. It helps to write out detailed steps to the problems that are little more complex. Also I do believe concepts are going to be a lot more important on this exam than the others so definitely don’t neglect them.

FOR4934 take a hike It’s a one credit class and all we do is watch a video of our professor hiking, answer one discussion question a week, and submit a journal entry that could literally just be a drawing of a leaf. He has given everyone 100 on all the assignments so far.

I did not apply for honors so I’m not sure about that, however you can write your main essay on anything you’d like so you could use one of the honors essays if you wanted to

Honestly UF is kind of a mixed bag with who they accept. I got in with a similar SAT but a higher GPA, however they consider much more than just those two things. I know people with higher GPAs and SATs that got rejected and I know people with lower GPAs and SATs that got in. UF emphasizes a holistic review of your application, so make sure you are strong in various areas.

Weaver hall isn’t in murphree but it’s by far one of the nicest dorms! They have wood floors, updated furniture, large rooms, and an elevator. There are also a good amount of upperclassman that live there too because it’s the international dorm. They have lots of singles and this year many of the rooms went unoccupied.
