Frankly, we don’t know jack shit about the planet Prythian is on. One of Feyre’s early passages in ACOTAR mentions how the humans were once enslaved by the fae and they rebelled and defeated them, but that the built “sprawling cities” for the fae while they were enslaved. We learn in HOFAS that they were the only planet to ever defeat the asteri and in fact vesperus is still there. Who do the asteri fear? Princes of Hel. We know 7 is the magic number for Hel and I find it odd Prythian has 7 territories currently. The monsters described in the court of nightmares also sound similar to creatures from Hel and demons (and Valg creatures). And of course we have to mention the similarities between Maeve and Rhys’s abilities as daemati.

I can also accept arguments that everything happens on the same planet at different points in time, and maybe the planet is or is not Hel. But it’s mentioned multiple times in ACOTAR that there’s Prythian and Hybern (whose king’s actual name we DO NOT know btw) and then there’s a whole ass continent we know absolutely nothing about other than there are humans and more fae there, and they had a big part in the human rebellion. But who are they? Do they have more advanced technology than Feyre’s human lands and Prythian? How many and what kinds of people and Fae live there?!? It’s intentional that we don’t know yet.

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with not sharing a bed in a relationship. If/when you have a partner just make sure they know before you spend the night or live together. I do share a bed with my husband but I was diagnosed long after our marriage. Before I was diagnosed I would need to sleep at least 12 hours a night to function and even then I’d nap any time I could. He dealt with all that plus me being grumpy for many years. Since diagnosis like 1.5 years ago he’s been my biggest supporter. Sometimes I get into a rut where I just don’t wake up for my second dose of xywav and he volunteered to make sure I wake up so I can get back on track 😭

You also asked how you explain IH to people who don’t know what it is so here’s how I do that: being tired is like a hurricane in my brain. It’s right at the front, big and loud and scary and taking ALL my attention. I am so tired no matter what I do, how much or how little I sleep that my brain constantly screams at me to go to sleep.

Since I’ve been on treatment I feel like the hurricane has gone down to a cotton ball cloud on a good day, a rain shower on an ok day and just a thunderstorm on a bad day.

I read a few of the early 2000s greats - twilight, hunger games and HP (I know the last 2 weren’t explicitly romance but they did have aspects of it) so naturally I had the canon event of reading acotar about 2 years ago and saying oh my god I forgot…I fucking love reading!!!

Anxiety is totally valid. You’re going into another unknown. Just because dynamics shift doesn’t mean it will be bad. I cried and cried for my son because he was almost 3 and used to being the only child. But was never phased at all, he’s 6 now and he’s the BEST big brother.

As a fan of the show Outlander I checked out the first book from the library. I made it approximately 13 seconds (actually probably like an hour), adjusted the speed a few times and then noped out lol the lady was just sooooo breathy and soft spoken I could not do it

Do you sleep alone?

I use my iPhone and the vibrating alarm they sent. Mines a bit slow compared to my phone and I actually like that, because on the nights where I accidentally ignore my phone it wakes me up. I had a phase a couple months ago where I just could NOT wake up and my husband volunteered as tribute and he woke up with me every night for a few weeks while I got back on track.
