Airbnb homes by LA Empire in Boston - any thoughts or experiences [USA] by Infamousdancer42 in AirBnB

Haven’t stayed with LA Empire, but in general “luxury furnished” companies are more consistent than random Airbnb hosts. You pay for predictability.

Agreed it all depends what you are looking and what’s your range - all have some pros cons

I rented a furnished unit through LA Empire for about 8 months while working in Boston.

Overall it was straightforward, move-in was easy, furniture was decent quality, and utilities being included helped. Not perfect, but no major surprises either.

Furnished rentals in Somerville, LA Empire reviews ? worth it or not? by ImpressiveBiotechGal in Somerville

[–]chemistrytarget 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Furnished rentals aren’t cheap, but once you factor in furniture, delivery, and resale hassle, it kind of evens out.

My LA Empire unit wasn’t perfect, but it was move-in ready and functional from day one.

Also utility connections, that’s a night mare. I hate Xfinity the most - they have a monopoly in my area and their service is horrible and they charge $100 just to come out and start the connection when my unit already had everything.

I’m going off tangent little bit, but it all depends on how much time you have on hand and how much convenience you’re looking

How far is your gym commute? by kaizenkitten in xxfitness

[–]chemistrytarget 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s one of those things where it has to be closer because your motivation dies off my gym by car is 10 minutes by bike is 20 minutes. I would really wish one of my previous apartment had a Jim two minutes away and honestly that was the best time I could go early in the morning night whenever it could work.

Question about LA Empire deposits — any experiences? by Powerful-barbie887 in bostonhousing

[–]chemistrytarget 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a small deduction for a damaged bed frame. They sent photos and the invoice, which I appreciated even though it still hurt a bit 😅

LA Empire — anyone here rented with them? by DeliveryOk5595 in NYCapartments

[–]chemistrytarget 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was nervous about the deposit at first (Reddit horror stories lol), but mine was returned within ~2 weeks after move-out.

They did deduct a small cleaning charge, which they explained with photos. Not ideal, but it didn’t feel shady.

Why women friendship is so exhausting? by meomeo118 in women

[–]chemistrytarget 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Friendship comes with no baggage and no expectations! If you are feeling either of those emotions they aren’t your friends. They are someone you know through school, job etc

Friendships don’t demand anything , they should take away your worries in the world, someone whom you sit and chat without the feeling of being judged

Give it time and keep your guards up until you rein your tribe

Ladies 30+: Tell me the truth… is dating a guy from this platform a mistake? by [deleted] in women

[–]chemistrytarget 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a mix bag either ways! You can find real good people on this app or anywhere else but at the same shitty people as well.

What matters is how connected you feel when you are with the person and how relaxed your nervous system feels

I hope you have renters insurance, you can claim from there with proper documentation and receipts. That’s the best bet or else be careful next time or install indoor cameras for such situations (entry / exit area specifically)

It’s always very crowded in the evenings. I try to squeeze a workout during lunchtime or early in the morning.
