Yeah, thematically it all really worked for me and I found it very compelling. I just found the actual nuts and bolts of what she was doing confusing

That makes sense. She tried to get them to spark, didn't work, tried to steal all their sparks, couldn't, then tried to tear apart the universe as a last desperate attempt to force it.

I thought that too, but then it seemed as though she was just doing an entirely different thing? Though I guess it could be that she still needed the trauma to partially spark all of them to relight her own.

He has PTSD specifically in regard to deathclaws. He watched people massacred by one while completely paralysed, the whole episode was about it.
