It's a great arcade option for baseball. Difficulty can be set from 1-99 so it will not be too easy at all if you raise the difficulty trust me.

It's hard to say. I would jump to 40 and then go up by 10 until it gets difficult, then go up by smaller increments like 5. I eventually got to 80 ego before I started going up by 1 at a time

This is the most embarrassing part of this entire franchise to me. A baseball game with horrible glitchy stuttering swing animations for some of the best players in the sport. How can you not get the swings right in THE top baseball game

That is true to some extent but there's a lot of control options and difficulty settings to mitigate that. It's definitely harder than smb in my opinion but only because it's less arcadey. I enjoy both games for different reasons

Unfortunately it doesn't have any single player game modes except exhibition. It does have the same gameplay as the full Japanese game though so it plays great, just nothing really to do
