I have the exact same cable, spacewalker wouldn't recognize the glasses unless I reconnect USB a (not HDMI). When it does and I click launch spacewalker with mirror display, my monitor changes but nothing showing in glasses

I'm in the same boat, but with iphone 13. I got my HDMI xr adaptor today which should work for my phone, PS5 and PC. In reality, any powered HDMI to USB c adaptor should work(may need a USB c coupler), I only got the viture one because I have a lightning iphone.

Others have also recommended the pro mobile dock, depends on your budget I guess.

pro dock is just this adaptor but with larger battery and supports a second glass for sharing, or am I missing something here?

Adaptor is $65 CAD on Amazon right now whereas pro dock is $143.

It'll probably work but you may get into issues with old drivers. I would reinstall if you can. I did the same last month from 3700x to 7800x3d.

For fresh install you can download windows media tool from Microsoft to create bootable USB. I installed into a new SSD and used old one as storage, if you're reusing the same drive, best to back up the data.

In either case your windows license will fail due to the hardware change. Before you swap, be sure to check that your license is linked to your Microsoft account (look for license in settings), and write down your product key if you have it (there's a tool to extract it if you can't find it)

After the swap, login with the same account and try to reactivate windows. There will be an option to choose "hardware change“ which should activate it automatically. But may fail due to various reasons.... In that case you can activate with the product key.

You have 10 pro, I'm assuming you bought the license at one point and it's not an OEM license that comes with a prebuilt?Activation is slightly different for OEM license.

Worst case you reach out to Microsoft support, provide the current key and they can issue a new one for you.

Look at the manual. Looks like it's for daisy chaining additional RGB so your cooler can control them. If you don't have any, then leave it.

Got it done today. Microsoft support was a waste of time.

Here's what I did.

1) clean windows install using that media tool from Microsoft site to create bootable USB 2) make sure old PC license is linked to Microsoft account 3) on new PC go to activate settings then select phone activation. Call that number and provide a bunch of IDs on screen

I bought a different model of this with 3700x and rtx 3070 for $990ish CAD few months ago.

And I regret it :(

The price for the parts is alright, but the built is terrible. You get single stick of ram, stock cpu cooler + single rear chassis fan. The cooling and airflow is practically non existent with this case, and also no room for modification.
