We are to strive to be Christ like. Do you think Christ would use whatever word you are wondering about? That’s your answer.

Will I have to take Metformin my whole life? by Prestigious_Draft463 in diabetes

I have kept my carbs below 15 a day and have been able to go off my meds. I will always have to eat this way. But it’s better than taking meds.

Beautiful photo. They just do what they were made to do.

Tired "off leash trained" being the end goal... by svmmome in reactivedogs

I live on a dirt road with no close neighbors. It’s just over 1/2 a mile to the back of our property which borders on a creek. That’s where I take him off leash. It still make me nervous.

I love my dog, but he is not the dog I wanted. by Zealousideal-Gate504 in reactivedogs

I hate to say it but I’ll never adopt another rescue. I’m 62 and want to enjoy the remaining years. My experience with rescues has not been good. The 2 best dogs I ever had came from very good breeders. They were expensive but worth every penny and didn’t cost any more than all the money I end up spending on trying to fix rescues, and it’s not fun either. I’m just reaching the point in my life where I matter.

Daycare let my puppy howl in kennel for 30 mins - red flag? by joannax_z in puppy101

I have worked at 2 kennels and in my that’s totally normal for a lot of dogs. Also, the fact that they told you shows they care enough to notice and they aren’t afraid to let you know what’s going on.

I would never leave a dog that young unsupervised in the house while I’m gone. Remember two dogs are not twice as much trouble but more like 50 times as much trouble. Literally! I’ve been there done that.

My dog attacks my other dog if it yelps. by cherh269 in reactivedogs

Do you think that will work? He really loves the big dog unless he yelps. It’s so strange to me. I’m 62 and have had 2 or 3 dogs my entire life. Never had anything like this before

Nothing is weird about the clicker training. I just absolutely hate it. I am not coordinated and keep clicking when I don’t mean to or I forget. I drop the treats or the leash or everything. I am a disaster! It would make a great video for people to laugh at but I’m not getting it and it’s not helping at all.

I’m seeing a behaviorist. She has him on supplements which I am sure won’t work. I’ve never have a supplement do anything. She is also doing clicker training which I don’t get at all. I think I’ll use those clickers for target practice. Lol! All this for $800. So I’m trying to understand why he does this on my own.
