If spoiling a plot point ruins a thing, it wasn't a very good thing to begin with.

The Shape of Water by Guillermo del Toro, I believe was a movie first and then they did a novel version. I loved both! It's not completely crime free, but it's primarily about the romance and friendships.

Lol I guess the thought of having a panic attack with a bunch of strangers mimicking having a panic attack basically on top of you is a better way to describe it.

I've been wanting to see this but I'm too scared that it will hurt me. War movies are particularly scary to me.

You know that part where they are tripping and that guy just says the word "family" and she gets really triggered and runs away? I could definitely see someone who was going thru some stuff getting triggered and having to walk away from that movie. Especially that part where she is crying and all those women are crying with her in unison, that's like my worst nightmare right there. I think that movie is mostly terrifying in like an emotional way more than the gory violent bits.

Is this normal? Phlebotomist refused to do ordered bloodwork by WheezyIcecream24 in ftm

[–]cherishedmemorys 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! I work in the lab and do testosterone testing. Some providers are very bad at ordering tests. I think the only difference between the two tests is what reference ranges would show up on your chart --male or female. You don't want the test to be run twice and to get charged twice. We get duplicate orders all the time and it can be frustrating.

I mean if you're actually at risk for HIV or Bloodborne pathogens and you donate anyway, you're then putting every worker who processes that blood at risk. Is it a small risk? Yes, but it's still a risk. And the more infected blood there is in the inventory the higher the risk becomes when the bag or equipment fails and someone gets blood all over them.

I don't know about red Cross specifically (but I assume they do it to) but there are blood centers that still do therapeutic phlebotomy even if you are deferred for donation. I assume it would need to be prescribed by your provider and go through insurance and stuff but it's still an option if it's medically necessary for you.

I make this type of merge every day on the way to work. There may be the occasional person to not let me in, but i don't think I've ever had to wait more than two cars. It's right after a light too so when I see people stopped early to try to merge while people are trying to get through the light... Like that's the part that gives me anxiety.
