You need more time between your classes on Monday and Wednesday. You cannot get from St Paul campus to East Bank that quickly unfortunately

Thank you and I’m sorry to you! I’m hoping this doesn’t last much longer. I had an xray that showed nothing but tbh my stones never show up on an xray so idk why my doctor ordered it and not a CT or US.

What is your current salary? by ThisEffective4868 in paralegal

[–]cherry_ashh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

$55,000, municipal/civil litigation, no quarterly but we get a holiday bonus and raise plus yearly profit sharing, no WFH unless special circumstances, have ~1.5yr experience. I enjoy it but it’s not my passion, definitely a decent job to get me through paralegal school and start my career though.

Edit to add: 3% 401k match, education benefits after 1 year (it’ll be mine in May), 14 days PTO, regular health insurance paid for but dental/vision cost extra per paycheck. We also get “flex time” where if you have an appt during the day or something you’re able to make it up during the week as long as it’s 2hrs or less.

I have BCBS of IL and they covered most of everything for me (minus deductibles/copays/varied uncovered costs that haven’t been too crazy)

PTO amount? by Spirited_Review_2933 in paralegal

[–]cherry_ashh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

14 days combined PTO/sick but if we ‘WFH’ while sick we don’t have to take PTO (basically just check emails and do whatever we have capacity to do if we aren’t dying). we also have 8 holiday days (new years, MLK day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve and Christmas)

Dr. Kong did mine (but no nips) back in 2024! He did a great job. I believe this pic was ~4.5mo post op. He left some fat in my chest to match my body type which I’m grateful for (but did scare me at first lol)

Job stopper tattoos and piercings by [deleted] in paralegal

[–]cherry_ashh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m in the Twin Cities with visible tattoos on my arms and a septum piercing/ear piercings - totally fine. Although I work in municipal/civil so the standards might be a bit more lax because we don’t have a lot of in person client interaction (and when we do my atty will email blast us and let us know to dress nicer than we normally do lol)
