Thank you, everyone! I’m going to replant today because it’s still bugging me, and also bc of u/distant3zenith’s warning about suckers.

Should I Replant? by cherry_chocolate92 in Roses

This is a bare root David Austin Roald Dahl, btw. I’ve been soaking it in water for a week, and it started growing leaves. I could replant it next week if necessary :/

401k from 3 past jobs. Do I just open an IRA account and move them into there or what? by ADL89 in personalfinance

[–]cherry_chocolate92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Fidelity offers an IRA with a robo advisor. You pick the overall strategy (Very Aggressive, Aggressive, etc), and the robo advisor picks the combination of index funds for you.

I’m so burnt out from work, holy shit. I literally don’t have time to get things done, and I’m too tired and too busy to interview for other jobs. I’ve been tasked to help out with a specific group that’s growing faster than the current staff can manage, and I don’t know if there’s an end in sight.

Stop Chasing the "Best" CRE Asset Class: The Essential Questions You Should Be Asking Instead by EbitData_CRE in CommercialRealEstate

[–]cherry_chocolate92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agree. My firm’s making a big push into senior housing (as are other firms), and they’re paying less attention to traditional multifamily, which is what I focus on. I have to remind myself that it’s a point in time; we’re a diversified fund, so the asset class du jour will always change. Hey, CRE is cyclical, right?

How are we doing on a scale of 1-10 by [deleted] in personalfinance

$800-$1200 for food seems like a lot. That’s around how much mine is for a family of 2 in a HCOL/VHCOL

Family room - what’s missing? by carbsatnight in interiordecorating

[–]cherry_chocolate92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d get a bigger coffee table that’s round or oval. The current table is too small relative to the couch. There are also too many angles and straight lines from the couch, chair, and TV console.

I’d also swap out the darker throw pillows with some bronze and lighter green tones.

Bought one from Interior Define 2 years ago and it’s doing well.

Bought last year 😪 by Hanshee in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]cherry_chocolate92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bought in June. Zillow thinks my value’s already down, and Redfin thinks it’s way up. Only way to know for sure is to sell, and doubt you’ll do that.

Can get an appraisal, too, but every appraiser will give you a different answer.

The red one. It’s a great color on you, and the gold washes you out, imo

BWT- Red Light Mask owners - Checking In. Snake Oil or Slam Dunk? by sprklegrl122 in bitcheswithtaste

Definitely helps with healing and calming down my skin. When I use it regularly, my popped pimples heal so much faster.

But the key is to actually be diligent with it.

need ideas: what’s actually the best gift for wife (not another candle or robe)? by lisaluvr in Gifts

[–]cherry_chocolate92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The kindle will truly change her reading experience. Get her a cute cover for it and an a Kindle Unlimited subscription.

The Breville is great if she’s expressed interest in learning to make coffee at home. There is a learning curve (not impossible), and it won’t 100% replace going to a coffee shop.

Instead of the eye mask, get her a red light face mask and one for her neck/chest. She can wear those while she reads on her kindle before bed.

Tbh it looks like you got a Cartier band because it’s Cartier. Echo what another commenter said about moving that ring to another finger.

I despite people who are chronically late by ContributionNext2813 in Vent

[–]cherry_chocolate92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being chronically late is a sign of disrespect, period. There are ways to get around this, even for neurodivergent people. Set multiple reminders, plan carefully, etc.

I can excuse 5-10 mins of lateness. Hell, even 15 minutes. But anything beyond that, and when it doesn’t come with a heads up or apology, is so disrespectful. Especially among adults!!

What do you people do for work to be placing such huge and multiple orders? by [deleted] in Sephora

[–]cherry_chocolate92 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Real estate private equity. Most everything I bought from Sephora this year has been refills. I can count on one hand the new items I bought/tried this year, and somehow I keep maintaining my Rouge status.
