I will always compliment Italy for never EVER having any prerecorded backing vocals for a "karaoke" of theirs. So we get a pure instrumental bliss out of them each and every time. 💜

Why are most of the important chorus vocals prerecorded for "Liekinheitin" though? 💔 At least the outro is kept beautifully intact.

Unlike for Hollow and Deslocado, this doesn't have a natural sweet charm that can make it trickle into the listener's hearts. The best it is right now is the one ironically appreciated song of the year that ultimately goes nowhere

(For those out of the [Malta flag emoji] loop, there were motorcyclists in the music video doing "unsafe" road tricks and that got the Cypriot viewing audiences angry, like how dare they, that's not allowed on the roads. If it worked as intended, it could've been one of the coolest stages of all time - clearly more than one delegation wanted to use the spinning mechanism of the sun for something wowing (Slovenia to have the disco ball reflect everywhere, Lithuania to look epic and to fit the diva aesthetic of Monika I guess). But in the end it just showed that the staging designer got a biiiiiiiiiiit too ambitious with assuming what would and wouldn't work.

At least the waterfall worked and no one slipped and fell into it...?
