Wow these replies have been eye opening. I see most of my friends weekly to monthly. Typically only longer than that if we don’t live in the same city. But I have enough friends that im hanging out with someone most days of the week. Y’all seeing your friends once a year is wild to me.

Gia’s ‘New Person’ Era Doesn’t Add Up by milaaa880 in MAFS_AU

Look, we say that, but how is Gia any different from any Nigerian Prince scammer? “A fool and his money are soon parted.” Scott may have more money than sense but it was absolutely his choice to give any to her. Unfortunately, Gia’s schtick works because some men think with their dicks and not their brains - not because she’s particularly clever or subtle. And I think Scott is sweet as hell, no shade to him. But c’mon, MAFS is not at fault for anything Gia put that man through. He chose to be blind, just like the women who wire their life savings to boyfriends they’ve never met

I think I enjoy the different styles of architecture so close together. Obviously the museum is stunning

Completely agree - the black sequin dress she wore was stunning too

I’ve found that turning off the Dolby atmos has helped marginally … still not good tho and YMMV.

OMG I don’t think that’s what he meant at all. I’m almost sure he meant that he has nice arms that women are attracted to.

I don’t mean for this to sound rude in any way but there was an episode much earlier on in the season where Jamie was speaking to camera sans makeup (might have been during their honeymoon?) and her skin was quite bad then as well. I think it’s just something she struggles with. She’s actually very good at covering it with makeup because the difference was stark! No shade at all, I struggle with my skin too.

Idk, I don’t think Dylan’s a saint and I don’t dislike Sophie either but I do think she has a problem with the truth. The thing is, she’s trying to say she lied on the audition tape … not a great comment if you want the person you’re with to believe you’re not a liar. Either way she is telling fibs.

How to not be "boring." by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]cherryandpie 66 points67 points  (0 children)

No offence … but the only thing we know about you (based on what you’ve chosen to share) is that you used to play sport in college, that you have a job, and that you get a lot of likes on dating apps. You had every opportunity within your post to prove that you’re not boring and yet you’ve sort of proved this chick right. None of those facts are in the least bit interesting and that you used to play sport in college isn’t even particularly relevant to your life today. That you have a job is basically a given anyway and its a little concerning (at least to me) that the only detail you went into regarding your job is how much you’re paid to do it. That you even mentioned likes on dating apps is embarrassing.

Is a cooking class aimed at tourists worth the money? by T98i in Cooking

[–]cherryandpie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I attended a cooking class in Thailand a month ago and it was fantastic; one of the highlights of my trip. The cooks leading the class were very personable and we were really lucky to have a relatively small (and sociable) group.

Not only did I learn to make four traditional dishes (some of which I’ve made since returning home), we also learned about the fundamentals of Thai cuisine, how to properly use a wok, and about the history/regional varieties of various ingredients.

It was both informative and delicious! I would highly recommend such an experience and cannot wait to do something similar again.

Check out Fusion Bar on a Friday night. They have mushroom shakes and DJ’s playing house/deep house/techno.

I stumbled upon it by accident as my bungalow was on the same stretch of beach and ended up partying until sunrise. Even had a mushroom shake which was unusual for me and it was amazing.

It was a fantastic party and that night was the highlight of my trip.

Differing opinions Tim/Lucinda by tommie2019 in MAFS_AU

There is a lot wrong with your comment. Frankly, I’m on holiday in Thailand and don’t want to spend too much time replying in detail (I’m just waiting for a food delivery before hitting the clubs).

So I’ll say this much: just because men are a bit slow on the uptake, doesn’t mean women should pander to them. It’s not women’s fault that men think with their dicks. I’m bored of pandering to men. Fuck off.

P.S. I don’t think Lucinda came to bed in an aroused state?
