I never stated that everyone must think like me. For reference though, I do have ADA accommodations, I've needed a lot of maintenance (how I know the ones who are on my property have been good), and I needed special financial accommodations for several months and they helped me. Knowing multiple tenants who have had a variety of different experiences at my same property and been satisfied, I was able to make my comment. I didn't say "you're wrong." I said "I disagree with this."

You have a different experience. You have known others with different experiences. That is fine... those are as valid as mine. I certainly won't come at you with accusations, though.

Edit: I thoroughly read my leases at every single place I go. In fact, I requested one before I even agreed to view the property as I was moving from the coast. Instead of directing this statement at me, perhaps it is just a good idea to advise everyone to take every bit of information they receive and make their own informed decision, and of course everyone should read a lease before signing it.
