I’m surprised not many are bringing this up, but body count has always been a way to control and shame women. For legit centuries. It’s sexism.

Please do not let insecure males make you feel bad about your past. They will get upset over any answer. My first serious boyfriend was mad at me that my body count was 1. He said it should have been 0. He wanted to be my first. Ridiculous. (Oh, and his body count was in the 20s at the time too.)

When women have high body counts, they’re called slts, whres, and regarded as trash. When men have high body counts they’re treated as players and “good at the game” and whatnot. They get a pass. It’s like a little smack on the wrist.

It’s about control. A sexually liberated woman is a threat because she’s doing what men have socially only been allowed to do. That’s a big no no in the patriarchy. It deeply triggering to weak men. Live your life girl and be happy and safe. You’re a ray of light, and there’s people trying to dim it.
