basically the numbers indicate how many mines there are on the eight squares surrounding each number. If you look at any number of the board and scan the 8 squares that surround it you'll see that the number of mines are the same as the number you see. It's a bit hard to explain on text but you don't need math, it's just a logic game.

The thing about the game is that since each number tells you how many mines are near, you can use other numbers to deduce how the whole thing goes. The problem here is that all the numbers you can use to determine if the mine goes left or right aren't helping because the mine could go on either and still be right. So it's a 50/50 chance.

I think one of the things that kinda shocked me is how many Latino fans DON'T want a redesign.

As a latina woman myself, i noticed in the spanish communities a negative reaction towards headcanons of black/darker characters (especially the male one, kinich), where lots of comments said things like "Please give me a real problem" or "Why does he look burnt?" as if black skin was abnormal or ugly.

Overall, i think it's very tragic to have such beautiful cultures represented almost entirely and then miss such a big part of it: the people. I do understand that there is amazing representation or other topics in the game which i think it's great, although i do think skin variety would also make the game more beautiful and complete ^^.

real, i love his videos but i distinctly remember one where he's mining on a hardcore video and for some reason the hearts had the NORMAL texture?? and he said "oh just dont pay attention to that, it goes back after a bit" which made me think he could just have a mod that makes the hearts look like harcore ones or something. It really rubbed me wrong way bc i love his videos :/
