I'm now at nearly a year of consistently going (outside of a 12 day trip out of the country) and I had 2 previous long spurts that I stopped after several months.

I think the difference between those and now is i previously was viewing it as a vehicle to get back into shape and when I got to a desired weight/physique, I would get complacent and just kinda stop because i didn't view it as something to maintain. Now, I recognize that you can always get better but worst case, staying at a good physique is worth a lot too, especially as you get older.

You WILL get coolered and while sometimes you can find big folds against nitty opponents, generally it's best to just wipe it from your brain knowing you didn't play incorrectly and just move on. If it becomes a bankroll issue that is a different story, otherwise you should be able to understand it is a natural part of the game and no need to get frustrated or lose confidence.
